Chelsea wants to strenghten their squad with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Archie Gray

Chelsea looks to strengthen their squad and give their new coach Enzo Maresca a positive start at the Bridge. Chelsea already acquired the services of Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham. However, they missed out on Michael Olise who was one of the Blue's primary targets. The Blues are still in the Market for a new striker to compete with Nicholas Jackson. Chelsea is also looking to bring in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Archie Gray from Leicester and Leeds respectively. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall worked with Enzo Maresca at Leicester during the 2023/2024 season and would be interested to be reunited with his former boss at Chelsea. Archie Gray was also excellent for leads last season and Chelsea believe that he would help strengthen the squad. Chelsea will have a busy transfer window to ensure they acquire all the players that would help Enzo Maresca achieve silverware in his first managerial job in the premier league.

Chelsea Interested in purchasing Murillo from Nottingham Forest

Chelsea is keen on bringing in Nottingham Forest defender Murillo. This will be a surprising and odd acquisition given the number of central defenders in Chelsea’s squad. Chelsea already has Badiashille, Disasi, Colwill, and Chalobah as options in the central defense. Additionally, Chelsea also acquired the services of Tosin Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham in a free transfer. Finally, the Blues will also be welcoming Back Wesley Fofana who sustained an injury that made him miss the whole of last season. Given all the options Chelsea have in the central defense position, it would be very odd if they push to sign the defender from Forest given his high valuation. Chelsea plan to include Chalobah in a swap deal that will see him move to Nottingham Forest. The Blues have been looking to sell the Cobhan graduate to help them balance their books. However, allowing Chalobah to go to Nottingham Forest would be an unwise decision by Chelsea. The defender showed his quality during the last matches

Chelsea should keep Nicholas Jackson as their main striker

Chelsea should stick with Nicholas Jackson as their main striker in the 2024-2025 season. Nicholas Jackson joined Chelsea from Villareal last summer in a deal worth €35 million. He signed an eight-year deal at Stamford Bridge indicating the club had long-term plans for him. Jackson had a mixed first season at Chelsea. Jackson scored 19 goals in every competition and assisted 8 times during the 2023-2024 campaign. These are not bad numbers for a young striker in his first season in a new league. Even though the Senegalese has only spent one season in Chelsea, the Blues are working to bring in a new striker to provide competition for Jackson. However, Signing a new striker would be a bad idea and hinder Jackson’s development. Jackson should be afforded a new season to allow him to gel with the team and help him get to his best form. If Cole Palmer will have the same impact as he did last season, then much pressure will be relieved on Nicholas Jackson and this could help him improve his

Chelsea linked to Alexander Isak

Chelsea will spend most of this transfer window trying to sign a striker. Chelsea has various strikers in their books including Lukaku, Jackson, and Fofana. However, all these strikers have had an underwhelming time in Chelsea hence the Blues are looking to strengthen in that position. This transfer window has been crazy for the Blues because they have been linked with every striker in the market. Various media houses reported that Chelsea was looking to bring in Victor Osimhen from Napoli. However, Chelsea pulled out of the race due to Napoli’s high valuation of the striker After pulling the plug on Victor Osimhen, Chelsea’s main target was Benjamin Sesko. However, the player signed a new contract at Leipzig and rejected the Blue's advances.  Chelsea continued the search for a new striker and approached Aston Villa to acquire the services of Jhon Duran. However, this also cooled down as the team did not agree on their valuation of the players. The latest name to be linked with the

Chelsea Consider using Nkunku as a striker

Media outlets have been reporting that Chelsea has been in the market in search of a striker to compete with Nicholas Jackson. Chelsea have failed to agree deals for their top targets including Benjamins Sesko and Jhon Duran. The blue cooled their interest in Napoli’s Victor Osimhen because his style of play does not fit in Enzo Maresca’s system. Even though Chelsea continues their search for a striker, they have an asset in their current squad that can play the striker’s position. Nkunku joined Chelsea from Leipzig in a deal worth approximately £ 70 million. However, last season, the 26-year-old was limited to 14- appearances due to constant injuries. This means that the Blues supporters did not have the opportunity to see Nkunku at his best last season. Nkunku is a versatile forward and can play in any position in the forward line. Chelsea is considering using Nkunku as a striker in case they fail to land their targets during the transfer window. The forward has a lot of experience a

Enzo Maresca makes decision on Chelsea Center-back

Chelsea has added Tosin Adarabioyo to the list of center-backs at the Club. The defender joined Chelsea from Fulham on a free transfer. Tosin Adarabioyo is considered Thiago Silva’s replacement who left after four years at the club. Chelsea has several centre-backs at the club and it would be interesting to see Enzo Maresca’s preferred partnership in the coming season. Trevoh Chalobah was one of the best defenders at Chelsea at the end of the season. However, Chelsea have been keen on offloading the defender to help balance their books. Various teams have shown interest in the centre back including Manchester United and Bayern Munich. The defender is an academy player and prefers staying at the bridge and fighting for his position in the team. Bayern have also shown interest in Levi Colwill who Chelsea consider untouchable. Let us look at the current center-backs at Chelsea before deciding on the best partnership that could start the majority of games under Enzo Maresca. The center-bac

Chelsea confident of signing Michael Olise

Chelsea have been negotiating to sign Michael Olise since the end of the season. Chelsea look to boost their squad as they prepare for the 2024-2025 season. Michael Olise was exceptional for Crystal Palace last campaign and Chelsea believe that he will be a great addition to the team. Crystal Palace have offered Michael Olise a new contract with an improved salary. However, even though Crystal palace are negotiating a new deal with Michael Olise, Chelsea are still favorites to sign the forward according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. Last summer, Michael Olise agreed to join Chelsea, however, he ended up extending his contract and staying in Crystal Palace. Chelsea fans hope that should not happen this time round as most of them have gotten excited about the news of Michal Olise joining Chelsea. Fabrizio Romano said on Playback that Chelsea are confident of signing the 22-year old even though crystal palace have offered him a new contract.

Chelsea agree to sell Ian Maatsen to Aston Villla

Aston Villa have agreed to sign Ian Maatsen from Chelsea. The signing fee of Ian Maatsen is believed to be in the range of £35m and £40m.  The release clause of Ian Maatsen was £35m. He made 16 Bundesliga appearances and seven appearances in the Champions League. He scored two goals in Bundesliga and One goal in the Champions League. His loan spell at Dortmund was successful and Dortmund wanted to keep him permanently at the club. However, Chelsea and Dortmund did not agree on their valuation of the player. Aston Villa will participate in the Champions League next season and this has played a key role in convincing the player to Join the Unai Emery’s side.Aston Villa have agreed to sign Ian Maatsen from Chelsea. The signing fee of Ian Maatsen is believed to be in the range of £35m and £40m.  The release clause

Chelsea consider Lois Openda

Chelsea continue their search for a striker to compete with Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea’s top target was Leipzig’s striker Benjamin Sesko. However, the Blues started looking at other options after the striker decided to extend his contract with Leipzig. Chelsea have also been negotiating with Aston Villa to sign Jhon Duran. Chelsea have expanded their search and Team Talk reports that they have entered the race to   sign Lois Openda. Other premier league teams have also been linked with the striker. The striker is also linked with Tottenham and Chelsea hope that their good relationship with Leipzig can help them land the striker. Lois Openda has a release clause of 70 million that will become active in 2025. Leipzig expects that Openda will have a great Euro 2024, putting them in an advantageous position to ask for a sum close to the £70 million release clause from suitors.

Chelsea's Possible Line-up against Manchester City

Chelsea is set to meet Manchester City in their first game of the 2024-2025 season. Chelsea look to begin their season on the positive after great performances during the last games of the previous season. Enzo Maresca will have an opportunity to meet and work with his new team during the season. We try to look at the available players and decide how Chelsea would line up against Manchester City in their first game. I will go with a 4-2-3-1 formation. In goal, I would prefer Robert Sanchez. At the back, I would go with Gusto, Tosin, Colwill and Chilwell. In the midfield, I would partner Enzo Fernandez with Caicedo. Ahead of them, I would love to have Cole Palmer, Nkunku, and Noni Madueke. Jackson will lead the line during Chelsea’s first encounter with Manchester City. With the transfer window opening soon, there will be new purchases and sales in the Chelsea squad. Additionally, some of the players will have come from injuries hence making the selection process difficult for t

Chelsea makes Decision on Conor Gallagher

Chelsea has been looking to offload some of their players to ensure they are compliant with the FFP regulations. Some of the names that have been named to leave the bridge include Conor Gallagher. Gallagher is an academy graduate and made a name for himself at Crystal Palace during the 2021/2022 season. Gallagher came back to Chelsea after his loan at Crystal Palace Last campaign, he was arguably, Chelsea’s best midfielder. Additionally, he can also be considered Chelsea’s best player after Cole Palmer. He captained the team frequently in the absence of Reece James and Ben Chilwell. Despite his great performance last season, Chelsea is still reported to be looking at offloading the mid-fielder who is on international duty with England at the Euro-2024. One of the teams that have expressed an interest in the 24-year-old is Atletico Madrid. The Spanish giant finished fourth last season and looks to boost their squad by acquiring the service of Conor Gallagher. The La Liga side has been u

Chelsea Continue negotiating Olise's deal

Chelsea are in negotiations with Crystal Palace about acquiring Michael Olise. Despite starting only 14 games Last campaign due to hamstring injuries, the Crystal Palace player had a significant influence, scoring 10 goals and assisting six. Chelsea eyed Olise the previous summer and triggered his £35 million release clause, he penned a new contract with Palace. Chelsea has made a new effort to sign Olise and has requested Palace for approval to talk with Olise’s representation. The Telegraph says that the Blues could encounter a transfer  difficulty since Olise has a £60 million release clause in his contract with Palace, which may only be triggered by a team competing in the Champions League If this is the case, Chelsea will be required to negotiate a different transfer fee with Crystal Palace. Chelsea is also in negotiations with Aston Villa about signing Jhon Duran, with reports saying that the clubs had agreed on a £42 million cost.

Chelsea continue search for a new striker

Chelsea has been looking for a new striker, and they failed to acquire Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, while their interest in Victor Osimhen has waned. However, Chelsea have continued their search for a new striker to compete with Nicholas Jackson. According to rumors, it is apparent that Chelsea has shifted their attention to Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran. One local source has also suggested that Villa and Chelsea have agreed on a sum of around €50 million for the striker. Guillermo Arango of Win Sports TV wrote on his X page late yesterday night: "Chelsea and Aston Villa have reached an understanding to sign Jhon Jáder Durán. It would cost around 50 million euros. They are now discussing contract terms with the striker. Duran has only started three matches since signing for Aston Villa in January 2023, indicating that Unai Emery does not rate him. There is no question that Duran has a lot of talent and might become a great attacker. However, Chelsea's decision to spend the

Chelsea Dealt a Huge Blow in their Pursuit of Benjamin Sesko

Chelsea have managed to complete the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham as a free agent. However, Chelsea is still looking to make more signings to boost their squad and make the team better for their new manager Enzo Maresca.  It is said that Chelsea is searching for a goalkeeper, left-back, center-back, and striker during the transfer window; however, it is unclear if they will acquire players to fill all of those positions. Perhaps the club's first aim is to sign a striker to contend with Nicolas Jackson and provide consistent scoring. One of the players that Chelsea wanted to sign was Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig. After deciding against pursuing a transfer for Victor Osimhen owing to cost and doubts about his suitability for the style of play, the Blues appear to have picked  Benjamin Sesko as their primary target. However, Chelsea have been dealt a heavy blow in their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko as the player has decided to stay at his current club. Arsenal and Manchester U

Chelsea are front runners to sign Michael Olise

Chelsea have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace. With seven goal contributions in the last eight matches of the campaign, the Frenchman had an incredible close to the 2023–24 campaign. His contributions enabled the Eagles finish the season with six victories out of eight matches, and as a result, there is a lot of transfer speculation. Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United have all been connected, but Chelsea seems to have the upper hand. Chelsea has always admired Olise, and last summer their interest in him became quite serious. Nevertheless, they have not yet begun negotiations with Crystal Palace over a summer transfer.Chelsea have already announced the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo and will look to sign Olise to boost their attacking options. Olise would be a magnificent signing for the Blues. Chelsea already have Palmer, Nkunku, Mudryk,Madueke Sterling and Jackson in their attack. Apart from Palmer,

Chelsea Looking to Permanently offload Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku is strongly lined with Napoli after Antonio Conte joined the Naples. The two won the Seria A together at Inter Milan and it is reported that Antonio Conte fancies the opportunity to work with the Belgian striker again. Lukaku was on loan at Roma last season where he scored 21 goals in 47 appearances. However, Roma was unable to secure his services permanently because of Chelsea’s high asking price. The striker has a release clause of £ 38 million which has put off other suitors including AC Milan. Given what they accomplished together at Inter, it is not surprising to learn that Conte wants the Belgian to play at Napoli. It might not be simple to land Lukaku, though. Luca Cerchione claims that due to Lukaku's age, Napoli is only keen on arranging a loan deal rather than signing the player long-term. Conversely, Chelsea seems primarily interested in permanently offloading the Belgium striker. AC Milan and Napoli have already reportedly made a loan offer to the Blues,

Pochettino Returns to Stamford Bridge

After just one season at Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino was fired as the Blues manager. Chelsea fans and some players were surprised by the decision, especially because he had led the team to qualify for the next campaign's European Competition. Chelsea finished sixth in the previous competition and qualified for the Europa League. However, they will play in the Conference League after Manchester United won the FA Cup. The Blues played nice football at the end of the campaign hence the surprise when the Chelsea owners decided to fire Pochettino. Last night, Pochettino was back at the bridge for the Soccer Aid charity match. Pochettino was coaching the Rest of the world team and they were defeated by the England side that was being coached by Frank Lampard. Several Chelsea legends participated in the match including Eden hazard, Gary Cahill, Petr Cech, and Michael Essien.  Lampard will always be well-liked by the Chelsea fans, Pochettino could not count on the same. However, a video

Lukaku's situation at Chelsea

Lukaku returned to Chelsea from Inter Milan in a £97.5 million deal in the summer of 2021, having left the Blues in 2014. However, after a falling out with Thomas Tuchel, Lukaku's second stint at Chelsea rapidly took a bad turn. The striker went back to Inter on loan for the 2022–2023 season before signing a short-term contract to play for Roma in the 2023–2024 season. Lukaku had a successful season with the Giallorossi, playing 47 matches in competitive play and tallying 21 goals and four assists. Lukaku will probably depart Stamford Bridge again this summer. Chelsea are reportedly unwilling to consider another short-term transfer, according to BBC Sport. Chelsea is trying to get Lukaku's salary off the books hence they will only consider a permanent move for the striker. Chelsea wants to get paid a substantial amount, even though they are eager to let go of the 31-year-old. Chelsea will demand around £37 million for the player. Although the Blues have stated the

Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea in January 2023 and bagged two assists that season. The next season, the 23-year-old recorded two assists and scored seven goals. He had one goal in each of the FA Cup and EFL Cup, and five in the Premier League. Last season, Mykhailo Mudryk was in and out of the team. He was unable to make the left wing his the previous season. Mykhailo has been integral to his country throughout and a good performance during the tournament will help boost his confidence for t

Chelsea Plan on Signing Julian Alvarez

Chelsea named Enzo Maresca as their new head coach earlier this week, and speculation has already focused on who they may bring in to raise his profile. Chelsea has Potentially acquired the services of Tosin Adarabiayo. It is believed that the defender will join Chelsea as a free urgent at the end of the month. It is believed that the defender is excited about the prospect of working under Enzo Maresca. Julian Alvarez has also been touted as a possible target. Reporter Uriel Iugt said on X that Chelsea are among the teams keeping an eye on the events at Manchester City. "PSG and Chelsea are interested in Julian Alvarez," he revealed. While Manchester City wants him to remain, he's hoping to get more playing time. As of yet, there is no official proposal. Since Joining City, Alvarez has enjoyed tremendous success

Tosin Adarabioyo set to join Chelsea

Tosin Adarabioyo will depart Fulham at the end of June, the club has revealed. The defender will be among several players to leave Craven Cottage with Chelsea expected to sign the 26-year-old. Adarabioyo was signed by the Blues ahead of Newcastle who were also interested in the services of the defender.  Tosin Adarabioyo   may be Enzo Maresca's first signing. Enzo Maresca also joined Chelsea from Leicester to replace the departed Pochettino. Once it is official,  Tosin Adarabioyo   will essentially replace Thiago Silva in the Chelsea team. Prior to moving to Fulham, Adarabioyo was on loan at West Brom and Blackburn. His career began in the Manchester City academy, where he presumably met Joe Shields and Laurence Stewart, both of who are currently at Chelsea. There was also a short connection with Maresca, who oversaw City's youth squad; however, Adarabioyo left two months after the Italian arrived and was never a player for him.The arrival of  Tosin Adarabioyo  will like

Gallagher Situation at Chelsea

Unai Emery's team is getting ready to play in the Champions League and Gallagher has become a possible transfer target for Aston Villa. The Midlands team, finished fourth in the Premier League the previous season, and are eager to make a move for the Blues midfielder to improve their squad. The Athletic reports that Aston Villa and Chelsea have begun initial negotiations on Gallagher's potential summer signing. The midfield player still has one year left on his current contract, and discussions over a renewal have slowed down recently. However, if Chelsea rekindles their interest in Villa striker Jhon Duran, Aston Villa's pursuit of Gallagher would be made simpler. During the January transfer window, Chelsea was reportedly interested in the attacker, and the two-time European winners are still in awe of the 20-year-old. It's said that the Blues are interested to see Duran play and would be willing to bring him to Stamford Bridge. All possibility of a Gal

Enzo Maresca’s Decision on two Chelsea Players

As the offseason approaches, it appears that Enzo Maresca is already making decisions about his team. Even though the new manager formally takes over on July 1st, he will already be evaluating his team and deciding who has a future and who doesn't. Before the season begins, the Italian will also want to add some of his own players to the roster. It appears that the squad's evaluation has already begun. Some of the decisions that have been made by Enzo Maresca are likely to affect Robert Sanchez and Omari Hutchinson. Although several shot stoppers have been associated with the blues this transfer window, Maresca is eager to work with Sanchez. However, Sanchez will need to adjust because one of the boss' primary tactics is to use the goalkeeper essentially as an outfield player. Hutchinson played for Ipswich on loan during the previous season, when he assisted Maresca's Leicester in helping them both be promoted to the Premier League. Consequently, the Italian would

Enzo Maresca to be announced on Monday

Enzo Maresca, who has signed a five-year contract to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea, will leave Leicester after bringing the team back to the Premier League. It is believed that the Italian had a release clause of between £8 million and £10 million at the King Power Stadium. The 44-year old will bring six members to join his backroom including Chelsea’s former goalkeeper Willy Cabellero. Maresca demonstrated a thorough understanding of Chelsea's roster, and Chelsea was impressed by his enthusiasm for the position and his emphasis on the team's desired style of play. Due to his fixation on possession and tactical play, Maresca emerged as the front-runner to succeed Pochettino, who departed amicably. The duration of the deal puts a stop to any further rumors regarding extensions and shows Chelsea's commitment to returning long-term success to the team. Senior Chelsea officials think the incoming head coach will be the last component to fit into the club's
