Chelsea linked to Alexander Isak

Chelsea will spend most of this transfer window trying to sign a striker. Chelsea has various strikers in their books including Lukaku, Jackson, and Fofana. However, all these strikers have had an underwhelming time in Chelsea hence the Blues are looking to strengthen in that position.

This transfer window has been crazy for the Blues because they have been linked with every striker in the market. Various media houses reported that Chelsea was looking to bring in Victor Osimhen from Napoli. However, Chelsea pulled out of the race due to Napoli’s high valuation of the striker

After pulling the plug on Victor Osimhen, Chelsea’s main target was Benjamin Sesko. However, the player signed a new contract at Leipzig and rejected the Blue's advances. 

Chelsea continued the search for a new striker and approached Aston Villa to acquire the services of Jhon Duran. However, this also cooled down as the team did not agree on their valuation of the players.

The latest name to be linked with the Blues is Newcastle’s Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker has been outstanding for the Cherries since joining them from Real Sociedad. However, the biggest stumbling block in the deal is the striker's price.

After missing their main target, signing Alexander Isak would be a huge statement from Chelsea. The striker would be a great addition to Enzo Maresca’s squad as they look to challenge Manchester City for the title.
