Chelsea is keen on bringing in Nottingham Forest defender Murillo. This will be a surprising and odd acquisition given the number of central defenders in Chelsea’s squad. Chelsea already has Badiashille, Disasi, Colwill, and Chalobah as options in the central defense. Additionally, Chelsea also acquired the services of Tosin Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham in a free transfer. Finally, the Blues will also be welcoming Back Wesley Fofana who sustained an injury that made him miss the whole of last season. Given all the options Chelsea have in the central defense position, it would be very odd if they push to sign the defender from Forest given his high valuation.
