Chelsea transfer updates

Chelsea has had a busy transfer window so far. They brought Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman, Estevao Willian, and Tosin Adarabioyo. This early arrival will give Enzo Maresca adequate time for pre-season which is key in preparations for the 2024/2025 season.

The new signings and the other available players have already reported to training. Mudryk is one surprise player to join the Chelsea team for the pre-season. He was at the Euros with Ukraine but unfortunately, they were eliminated in the group stage.

Chelsea is still expected to have a busy transfer window with major additions and departures expected. One of the players that Chelsea is looking to sign is Nico Williams. The winger impressed last season in La Liga and has also been exceptional at the Euros. Chelsea would be keen on bringing in Nico Williams after missing out on Michael Olise who decided to join Bayern Munich.

Another name being mentioned is Victor Osimhen. The Blues have been looking to sign a striker to compete with Nicholas Jackson after his underwhelming first season. Napoli are reportedly willing to lower the asking price of Victor Osimhen, and the Blues could try to negotiate a swap deal that would see Lukaku move to Napoli.

Some of the outgoings include Conor Gallegher. Gallagher was one of the key players for Chelsea last season. However, with the arrival of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, it is evident that the club is looking to offload Conor Gallagher with Atletico Madrid as the most interested team.

Chelsea will also look to offload Armando Broja, Romelu Lukaku, and Trevor Chalobah. Enzo Maresca will have adequate time during the pre-season to determine which players at Chelsea fit his style of play.
