Chelsea to make a decision on Marc Guiu

Chelsea has acquired the services of Marc Guiu from Barcelona. Chelsea is the second signing of the season after Tosin Adarabiayo. The striker was offered a new contract at Barcelona however he decided to join Chelsea instead.

Marc Guiu joined the list of strikers at Chelsea and it remains to be seen if the striker will remain at Chelsea or will be sent out on loan. Chelsea has been negotiating to acquire a new striker but has failed to acquire their top targets including Benjamin Sesko. The Blues were also linked to Victor Osimhen but they pulled out of the deal because of the price of the striker.

Michael Jackson was the main striker at Chelsea last season but some fans were not contented with his performance and called for the management to bring in a new striker. Enzo Maresca will likely observe Marc Guiu during the pre-season and decide whether he will be part of the first team next season.
