Chelsea do not need to sign a striker

I believe Chelsea should not sign another striker this transfer window. Chelsea already has Armando Broja, Romelu Lukaku, Nicholas Jackson, Datro Fofana, and their new acquisition Marc Guiu. Last season, Nicholas Jackson was the only striker in Chelsea with Lukaku, Broja, and Fofana out on loans.

Various media houses have reported that Chelsea has been in the market for a new striker. Last season, Nicholas Jackson had a mixed year hence Chelsea has been looking for a new striker to offer competition for Jackson. However, the Blues have failed to sign any of their targets.

There have been talks that Chelsea is planning to include Nicholas Jackson in a swap deal with Newcastle to bring in Alexender Isak. However, Chelsea has refused these talks as Nicholas Jackson is in their 2024-2025 season.

Signing a new striker will hinder the development of Nicholas Jackson. The Senegalese is still young and has the potential to develop into one of the most lethal strikers in Europe.

Chelsea must provide adequate time to ensure he develops into a complete striker. Nicholas Jackson showed that he has the potential to develop into one of the best strikers and Chelsea must trust him and continue with him as their main striker.
