Riccardo Calafiori prefer a move to Chelsea

 Riccardo Calafiori has attracted interest from various clubs including Chelsea. The 22-year-old defender was one of the stand-out players in the Serie A last season. Additionally, the defender was also outstanding during Italy’s group-stage games and this has increased the attention around the defender.

Chelsea has shown interest in the 22-year-old defender as they look to strengthen their squad for the coming season. The Blues face competition from Juventus and Arsenal for the signature of the Italian. The Blues have not formally begun negotiations for the defender however, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that the Blues are interested in the defender.

Riccardo Calafiori will be an asset to the team because he can play both at center back and at left back. Riccardo Calafiori previously stated that he would like to join either Chelsea or Westham hence this can give Chelsea an advantage over their competitors.

With the display the defender showed in the Euros, it is evident the Italian will be a great addition to Chelsea.
