Tosin Adarabioyo has impressed Chelsea staff during the training session

 Chelsea began training this week in preparation for the pre-season tour

Enzo Maresca have most of his senior players available during the training session. Only Enzo Fenerndez, Marc Cucurella, Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher are with their national teams for the Copa America and Euro finals.

The coaching staff have been impressed with various players during the training sessions. The player that has impressed the most is Tosin Adarabioyo. The defender joined the blues on a free transfer from Fulham. The 26-year old is considered as Thiago Silva’s replacement who left Chelsea after the 2023/2024 season.

The England defender has impressed Enzo Maresca and his team by how quickly he has geled with his new teammates and his commitment in training.He reported to training one week ahead of other players which gave him adequate time to familiriaze with his new home.

The defender has premier league experience and is expected to fill the leadership void left by Thiago Silva. Tosin Adarabioyo will be competing for a starting spot with Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah.

His experience will be key for Chelsea in the 2024/2025 season.
