Chelsea pleased by the return of Wesley Fofana

This week Enzo Maresca met his new players and had the chance to engage them in the first training session. The players available during this week’s training sessions are players not participating in the Copa America. Mudryk also joined the squad after being eliminated from the Euros.

One of the notable individuals during the training session was Wesley Fofana. The France international joined Chelsea in 2022 but has featured limitedly due to injury problems. Last season, Fofana sustained an injury that put him out the whole season hence he did not play under Mauricio Pochettino.

Fofana’s former coach described the defender as a phenomenal player and the Chelsea fans will have the opportunity to witness the defender play for them this season.
