                                                Chelsea player rating vs Everton

Chelsea easily earned three vital points with a 6-0 victory over Everton on Monday night. Cole Palmer scored his 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd goals in all competitions. Palmer's first goal came in the 13th minute after being set up by Jackson. Jackson was also involved in the second goal. Jordan Pickford stopped his initial shot, and Cole Palmer was quick to react and headed Chelsea's second goal. Following a shocking error from Pickford, Palmer scored with a lovely lobbed shot from more than thirty yards out to complete a hat-trick, his second in as many games at Stamford Bridge.

Jackson also got his well-earned goal. Marc Cucurella assisted the Senegalese to score Chelsea's 4th goal of the night. Palmer also scored after Noni Madueke won a penalty; the winger was desperate to take it, resulting in some absurd moments of teammates fighting each other.

Alfie Gilchrist came in off the bench and netted Chelsea's sixth goal to cap off an incredible night for the Blues. With the crushing victory, Chelsea is now only one point behind West Ham United, presently in eighth place in the Premier League. Below is the rating of Chelsea's players based on their impressive performance.

Player ratings

Djordje Petrovic- Even though he had nothing to do, the goalkeeper will be overjoyed to have achieved an essential clean sheet. 7

Malo Gusto- Was shaky at the started but became stable as the match progressed. It was a solid performance but not one his best in Chelsea colours.6

Trevoh Chalobah- Was stable and assured playing besides Thiago Silva.7

Thiago Silva- Was brilliant at the back and organized the defence properly to secure the clean sheet. 8

Marc Cucurella- Started poorly but settled as the game progressed. Assisted Jackson.6

Moises Caicedo- Was brilliant through the night and made some crucial interceptions.8

Conor Gallagher- Looked fantastic with Caicedo in the double pivot. They appeared to instantly comprehend one another.7.5

Noni Madueke- Began positively; he appeared quite sharp but then slightly faltered. It was still an impressive performance, even if it felt like he could have done more.7

Cole Palmer- His goal in the 13th is really amazing. There's really no other way to put it. With a nutmeg and a one-two joke, the finish is inevitable. Very special player indeed. Soon after, there were two more goals.10

Mykhailo Mudryk- He could have done better. Needed to get more involved.6

Nicolas Jackson- Plays a significant part in Palmer's opening two goals. Scores a crucial goal for himself late in the first half. Very amazing performance by Jackson.8

Substitutes

Carney Chukwuemeka- Substituted in with less than 20 minutes remaining. Had a few pleasant moments on the ball, but was unable to participate too much.6

Ben Chilwell- Didn’t play enough minutes to get a rating. It was amazing to see him back. N/A
